Our take
Iceland is a place where an escorted tour earns its keep: winter roads, weather that rewrites the day and restaurant prices that make five included dinners real money. This is a short, dense loop — three of the six days are long driving days — and the two things people come for, the lights and the glacier lagoon, are both weather-dependent. Is airfare included?
No. Every price on this page is land-only. We quote flights from Fort Lauderdale or Miami with your dates, and Globus can add airport transfers when the air is on their booking.
Are the Northern Lights guaranteed?
No, and no tour can promise them. Globus includes an excursion to look for them; cloud cover and solar activity decide the rest. The glacier lagoon visit is also listed as weather permitting.
How cold is it?
This tour runs in the Northern Lights season, so plan for winter layers, waterproofs and ice-grip footwear. We send a packing list when you book.
How much walking is there?
Expect guided walking tours most days, often on cobbles, steps and uneven ground. If that is a concern, tell us before you commit and we will talk it through rather than hope for the best.
Which dates are cheapest?
