Palace Resorts Riviera Maya Group
Mexico
Palace Resorts runs large luxury all-inclusives in Cancún (the Moon Palace complex), the Riviera Maya (Beach, Sun and Playacar Palace), Cozumel, Jamaica and Punta Cana, with Le Blanc Spa Resorts as its adults-only luxury tier. Resort credits to spend on tours, spa and golf are the signature, and the wedding and group departments are among the strongest in Mexico.

Our take
Palace is our pick for the big family reunion or the wedding with a long guest list that wants everything under one roof — Moon Palace Cancún can absorb a hundred people without anyone feeling it, and the resort credits give guests something to do beyond the pool. Le Blanc is the calmer, adults-only version for couples. The trade-off is size: the flagship resorts are enormous, and a couple looking for intimacy should look at Le Blanc or a different brand.

The real cost of this trip
The “from” price is the operator's land-only rate. This is what sits on top of it, so the number you budget is the number you pay.
| Flights and transfers | Flights from South Florida are extra; transfers depend on the package. |
| Spa and golf beyond credits | Anything beyond the resort credit is paid on site. |
| Flights | Not included; Mexico and the Caribbean are two to three hours from Fort Lauderdale and Miami. |
| Airport transfers | Included at some brands (Sandals and Beaches), extra at most; we build them into the package. |
| Room tier | The 'from' rate is the entry room; swim-up, butler and oceanfront rooms cost more and change the experience. |
| Spa, premium spirits, motorized water sports | Extra at nearly every all-inclusive. |
| Travel protection | Not included; hurricane-season trips especially warrant it. |
| Gratuities | Included at some brands (Sandals), customary and extra at most. |

Questions we get about this trip
What are resort credits?
Many Palace stays come with a credit — spendable on spa, golf, tours and upgrades — that is part of the value. We explain the conditions before you count on it.
Moon Palace or Le Blanc?
Moon Palace for families and groups (water park, kids' programming, scale); Le Blanc for adults-only luxury with a spa emphasis. Different experiences under one company.
How big are the groups it can take?
Moon Palace Cancún handles very large groups and weddings; the Riviera Maya Palaces suit 30 to 100 guests comfortably.
How far ahead should we book?
Holiday weeks and spring break book a year out; most other weeks can be booked three to six months ahead. Group room blocks need the earliest start.
What if we need to cancel?
Resort terms vary and hurricane-season clauses differ by brand; we show you the exact terms before you commit.
Cancellation policy
Most all-inclusive packages: full refund 60+ days out, 50% credit 59-30 days, no refund inside 30 days. Hurricane/tropical-storm clauses vary by supplier — read specific terms. Insurance with cancel-for-any-reason upgrade strongly recommended for hurricane-season bookings (Jun-Nov).
Documents needed
Valid passport book (6+ months past return) required for Mexico, Caribbean, Central America. Birth certificate + photo ID accepted on closed-loop US cruises only — flights need a passport. No visa for US citizens for typical destinations; Cuba is the exception (special tourist card required).
