All-Inclusive Resort Matcher

All-inclusive resorts are sold by brand, and each brand is built for a very different traveler — a honeymoon couple, a family with toddlers, a bachelorette group. Answer six quick questions and we'll shortlist the brands that fit your trip — then price and book the exact resort for you, free.

Who's traveling? (the one true filter — adults-only brands drop out if kids are coming)

What's the trip really about? (the biggest thing that separates the brands)

Where are you leaning? (some brands own certain regions — we confirm exact resorts)

Any must-haves? (pick any — leave blank if you're flexible; each match shows ✓/✗)

What's your budget comfort? (relative positioning, not a quote — we find the real rates)

If you had to pick just one — what matters most? (we use this to break ties)

How to choose an all-inclusive brand

The fastest way to narrow the field is to answer two questions: who is traveling, and what is the trip really about? The biggest fork is whether kids are coming, because several of the best-known brands are adults-only.

  • Couples & adults-only — Sandals (couples-only, the most included), Secrets (romantic, broad footprint), Excellence (dining-led luxury), Hyatt Zilara (calm and boutique), and Breathless (the party one).
  • Families — Beaches (Sandals-level luxury for families), Dreams and Hyatt Ziva (mid-range family programming), Club Med (the most activities included), and Moon Palace (a mega-resort with a waterpark).
  • Value — RIU and Iberostar deliver big, lively beachfront resorts at a friendlier price, with Iberostar usually a notch up in food.

Two things worth clearing up: Sandals is couples-only — if you have kids, you want its sister brand Beaches. And true all-inclusives are rare in Hawaii; the market lives in Mexico and the Caribbean, so if your heart's set on the islands we plan it a different way.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sandals good for families?

No — Sandals is couples-only (two people 18+), built for honeymoons and anniversaries. Its family sister brand is Beaches, which has the same luxury level plus waterparks, Sesame Street characters, kids' camps, and included scuba. If you saw "Sandals" and have kids, Beaches is the one you want.

Which all-inclusive brands are adults-only?

Sandals (couples-only), Secrets, Excellence, Breathless, and Hyatt Zilara are adults-only (18+). Family-friendly brands include Beaches, Dreams, Hyatt Ziva, RIU, Iberostar, Club Med, and Moon Palace.

What's the best all-inclusive brand for families?

For luxury, Beaches leads with waterparks and kids' programming. Dreams and Hyatt Ziva are strong mid-range family options; Club Med packs in the most activities (trapeze, sports, all-ages kids' clubs); and Moon Palace is a mega-resort with a waterpark. For value, RIU and Iberostar are the family workhorses.

Are there all-inclusive resorts in Hawaii?

Essentially no — true all-inclusives are very rare in Hawaii. The all-inclusive market is concentrated in Mexico (Cancún, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos) and the Caribbean (Punta Cana, Jamaica, Turks). If you want Hawaii, we'd plan it differently — a resort with dining and activity credits rather than a true all-inclusive.

What's the cheapest or best-value all-inclusive brand?

RIU and Iberostar sit at the value end — big, lively beachfront resorts at a friendlier price, with Iberostar usually a step up in food and grounds. Actual rates swing widely by resort, room, and season, so we price the real options for you.

Which all-inclusive has the best food?

Excellence is widely regarded as having the best dining in the all-inclusive world. Sandals and Beaches also rank highly, and Secrets and Hyatt's brands deliver strong Unlimited-Luxury dining.

What's the best all-inclusive for a honeymoon or romantic trip?

Sandals (couples-only, the most included), Secrets (romantic adults-only at a lower rate), Excellence (adults-only, dining-led luxury), and Hyatt Zilara (calm, boutique, romantic) are the go-tos for couples.

What's the best all-inclusive for a bachelorette or girls' trip?

Breathless is the party-forward adults-only brand — DJ pool parties, nightlife, and a social scene built for bachelorette and girls' trips, mostly in Cancún and Punta Cana.
